Tin of Tags

I love having lovely tags on gifts and this tin is great not only great for Christmas but the stamp set is also great for other times.

The video below shows how easy the kit is to use and it makes 30 tags, more than enough for those gifts under the tree.

Look at all the amazing pieces it comes with.

You can either use stamp sets that you already have, but the matching stamp set has such great sentiments that I think it is a keeper!

If you like either the stamp set or Tin of Tags kit, then just hop over to my shop.

Global Stamping Friends Bloghop - Colour Challenge

Welcome to the second Global Stamping Friends bloghop. If you've joined me from Carole's blog welcome or if you've found me by some other route, also welcome. I hope that you enjoy the bloghop and don't worry if you get lost along the way as I've listed all the participants at the bottom.

This month's Global Stamping Friends is a colour challenge! I was quite excited when we decided what the topic would be but then came the dilemma of deciding what colours I was to use, you didn't need to use them all, and what project to complete.

The Colours

I had seen this project on a New Zealand Demonstrators page, Jacque Williams, and I thought it was not only super cute but also something that I would like to have a go at.

Well I have to say that I am delighted with my final result. It wasn't so hard to make, the hardest part was deciding on the embellishments. I chose to use the Botanical Builder set as I am so in love with it.  I also decided to use some stamp sets that I've not used very often to move me away from my favourites.  This time I used The Designer Tin of Cards Stamp Set, great for sentiments; Perpetual Birthday Calendar for the hearts and Timeless Textures for the frame.

The colours I chose were Cajun Craze, Delightful Djion and Early Espresso, I think that those colours work really well together. I also love the touch of vanilla from the flower centres as well as the gorgeous ribbon. Also, who can resist a bit of sparkle? Love, love, love the gold thread!

I stamped on the acetate in the window with Archival Black Ink, but suspect that a better choice would be Stazon; unfortunately I don't have that, oops, might need to go shopping!

And the best thing about the project is that it folds up for posting!

I hope that you like my little bit of  crafting today and please use the buttons to hop through all the blogs in the bloghop.

If you have time I would also love to hear your comments and if you'd like to know how I made it just let me know and I'll get some instructions done!
