Covers for Post-it Notes and Note pads

I have had lots of fun covering post-it note pads and note pads for quick and easy gifts. Idea was cased from Sam Donald  with links to her pages below.  These are fantastically versatile and useful gifts as well as looking absolutely fabulous. They are also quick and easy to make when you are in a hurry.

Covered Post-it Notes

Dimensions:
Card - 8" x 3 1/2"
Score lines along the long side - 2", 2 3/8", 5 1/2" 5 7/8"
Designer Series Paper(DSP) - 3 1/4" x 1 3/4 "

To make the rounded corners I used the top cutter on the Envelope Punch Board - a fantastic tool from Stampin' Up!. Then I just glued on the DSP and added the button with sewing it on; you can either stick the post-it note onto the card, but I actually just took of the last page and used the glue on the post-it note - makes them reusable!

Covered Notepad

The dimensions for this depend on the size of the notepad - so measure front, binding and then have an overhang on the back - your choice of how much, it is also useful to add a few more mms to allow for a small amount of overhang on the front as this allows for easy opening.
Then measure the width and hey presto you main cover.
For the pretty overlays I used DSP and a stamp form the Flowering Flourishes (item # 131998) on white card. I also added a flower cut using the Petite Petals Punch (item # 133322) and of course it always needs a bit of bling!  (item # 119246)

Hope you have as much fun making these as I did.

Sarah
