Global Stamping Friends Bloghop 13 - Colour Challenge

Welcome to our 13th Global Stamping Friends bloghop.  We decided a colour challenge was over due so here we are!

The colours chosen were Whisper White, Smokey Slate, Pool Party and Night of Navy - all gorgeous colours.

My project was inspired by a visit to a relative who I never knew crafted so it was wonderful to see her creations. She had made a card with a fold I fell in love with so out came a ruler and measurements were taken and viola here it is.

I used all the colours in the challenge and stamped the pretty paper with the gorgeous Paisleys and Poises stamp set- even my husband was amazed. It was super simple and the colours work so well together.

The paisley swirls (yes there are matching framelits) hold the card closed and next time think I'll try a belly band. Love it when I find a new fold to play with.

Here it is open; and there is lots of space to use as you please.

I decided to add a bookmark, slightly camouflaged in the photo below but I am sure you get the idea.

I also stamped a plain piece of paper and added it to the back. This would be a great place to write the message.

Love the colours together and love the fold!  In fact might make a few as there is space for each of the kids to write their own message - a great way to encourage their writing!

Hope you enjoyed this Colour Challenge Project and please use the next arrow to hop along to the amazing Amanda's project.

    1. I think a different background might have helped! But used some left over stamped paper - hate to waste anything.
