A screen card

I just love this card, and it is so simple to make.  A few folds, a punch, some paper, stamp and ink and voilĂ  that is it.

Don't you love it?

Above you can see it closed with a ribbon and below here it is in full.

Waterfall Card

For those of you who have enjoyed crafting for a while, you may have seen or even made these yourself. I understand that they are called a waterfall card because of how to pull the card down and it cascades like a waterfall.   Being relatively new to crafting, I thought I would have a go at making one.

Isn't it pretty!  I thought that they would be extremely complex and difficult, but actually I surprised myself.

Hope you enjoy making your own one day.

A Box of Delights

I love going to crafting classes and recently I went to one held by my upliner, Elaine Erksine, and we made this!  What a fantastic box to hold lots of cards, as well as the envelopes with some space to spare for tags.

Isn't it fantastic?  As you can see there is a selection of cards; and they fit neatly into the box as well as space for some tags.  Plus, even better, Stampin' Up! sell the cases too!!

The cards were made with new products from the Autumn/Winter catalogue....have you had a look yet?  If not click here to view it.  There is also the value added Bundle to purchase for this set which includes the stamps + framelits- they are fantastic value and I hope you agree make great cards! This set covers such a wide range of occasions and is easy and fun to use. Click below to get a better idea of the set.

Come back soon to see other uses for the box!!

Making the most of paper

I love the layered look, but always thought it was a slight waste of paper as you only see a portion of some pieces of paper.  So I thought what about this; am sure I am not the inventor of this trick but I really love how you can use the covered layers to get some lovely shapes to add to the cards...or save for later.

Cut out shapes from the piece that won't be seen

Add the top layer
Then put the card together; and voilĂ , the layered look whilst utilising paper- don't forget the sparkle!

I hope you enjoy this papersaving post and please share how you save/utilise paper.
